On August 25, the National Park Service turns 100. Thanks to some incredible people out there who have fought to preserve the natural beauty of the United States. Places like these are precious, and those of you who have been lucky enough to visit any will appreciate those exclusive spots. 

Here in the UK we have 15 national parks which are looked after by the national park authority, which includes members, staff and volunteers. The world needs these unsung heroes to protect our spaces.
